Gwen Stefani has teamed up with Charli XCX for her new album.

The singer told Rolling Stone that the Brit has written music for her next record, which is due out in 2015.

The No Doubt star said: "I don't usually want to work with other girl writers - but she had my vibe."

The singer has also teamed up with the likes of Calvin Harris and Pharrell Williams.

Stefani's Williams duet 'Spark The Fire' is one of the lead singles from the album and they performed the tune live on The Voice recently.

Her last album meanwhile came in the shape of 2006's 'The Sweet Escape'.
