Gwen Stefani is designing an eyewear collection

Songstress Gwen Stefani has revealed that she is currently working on a collection of eyewear.

Speaking to Women's Wear Daily, the platinum blonde beauty explained that it is "something that I've wanted to do forever" and she has "probably five drawers" of sunglasses at home, so it's a genuine passion of hers.

The exciting new line will include 12 optical frames and 12 sunglasses for each of her labels, namely L.A.M.B. and GX by Gwen Stefani.

The 'Rich Girl' sensation also recently unveiled a collection of watches, which are solar-powered and can last three months off one full charge, through her Harajuku Lovers brand in collaboration with Q&Q. She told WWD that she's really proud of how the designs turned out:

"I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. They're like little wearable pieces of pop art that are collectable. They look super modern while still being playful and fun."
