(Nov. 3, 2017 – New York, NY) Olivia O’Brien, the Cali-based singer and songwriter known to millions around the world via her RIAA triple-platinum self-composed smash collaboration with gnash“i hate u i love u,” releases her brand new single “No Love” today via Island Records.  “No Love”, which was produced by Jahaan Sweet (Kehlani, Amine), is the prelude to IT’S NOT THAT DEEPOlivia’s highly anticipated debut EP set for release on November 17th.

“I'm so excited for the release of No Love today! This song means so much to me because it's so personal and something that I feel a lot of people can relate to. I hope you all love it as much as I do.” – Olivia O’Brien

Today’s release of “No Love” finds Olivia in the second week of her first major U.S. tour, opening for L.A.-based Island Records duo Jack & Jack.  The 7-week, 20-city tour, which opened October 23rd in Fort Lauderdale, wraps up December 10th with a homecoming gig in Los Angeles at the Fonda Theatre.  (Please see complete tour dates below).

In addition to “No Love,” IT’S NOT THAT DEEP will include “RIP”, which has amassed 7.9 million global streams and the video for the track has netted close to 2 million views to date (watch the video below).  LADYGUNN raved about the “RIP”video: “bringing all the “Pretty Little Liars” dark vibes, paired with a deliciously pop-sprinkled R&B anti-love anthem, the video for “RIP” is deliciously filled both lyrically and visually with every girls’ revenge fantasy post relationship-gone-wrong” whileIdolator called the track “an immensely relatable fuck-you to a bad boyfriend”.

“RIP” followed up “Empty,” whose Los Angeles-centric video released earlier this year has has over 6.2 million YouTube views to date (watch it below).  Along with “No Love,” “RIP” and “Empty,” IT’S NOT THAT DEEP will include the brand new tracks “Tequilawine” and “Fuck Feelings.”

About OLIVIA O’BRIEN:

Raised in Napa Valley, Olivia O’Brien has been singing and writing songs since she was seven years old, and taught herself to play both guitar and piano.  She began posting her originals on SoundCloud for fun, not thinking anything would come of it, until gnash reached out on Twitter in 2015, after hearing her cover one of his songs.  When gnash asked her if she had any original material, Olivia sent him a voice-note of the beginnings of “i hate u i love u,” and he invited her down to L.A. to record.  “i hate u i love u” is a global phenom now, a Top 5 hit in the U.S. where it is certified RIAA triple-platinum, #1 in Australia (double-platinum), Top 10 UK (platinum), and Top 5 on iTunes in more than 50 markets.

In addition to “i hate u i love u,” Olivia’s prolific string of singles include “Trust Issues” (over 3 million streams); “Find What You’re Looking For” (over 4 million streams); “Root Beer Float” (featuring blackbear); her original version of “hate u love u” (released on Island in December 2016); “Empty”“RIP” and "RIP (Steve Reece Remix)."   Olivia continues to write and record new songs with the goal of “creating music that people can identify with and enjoy.  I’m looking forward to releasing more music and showing who I am as an artist and songwriter.”
