Janet Jackson's 'Unbreakable' expected to reach No.1 in the US

Janet Jackson is on course for her seventh US No.1 album.

The singer released 'Unbreakable' on Friday (October 2) - her first record since 2008's 'Discipline'.

Billboard reveal that the album is expected to sell more than 100,000 equivalent album units.

This should give Jackson her seventh No.1 album in the States to date.

'Discipline' also reached the top spot in the country back in 2008, selling 181,000 copies.

Her first chart-topping record in the US was 1986's 'Control'.
