Jason Derulo confirmed for Capital FM's Summertime Ball concert

This year's Capital FM Summertime Ball is set to be an explosive event with the likes of One Direction already confirmed to perform, but another huge star has now been added to the bill.

'Trumpets' sensation Jason Derulo will also be taking the stage at London's Wembley Stadium on June 6 and speaking to the radio station this morning (April 29), he explained that he's very excited for the concert:

“Wembley Stadium is one of my favourite venues in the world. I mean honestly, that rush, that energy from the crowd, it’s amazing. I can’t wait, I’m excited."

The heartthrob went onto add that he might even strip off a little on stage and show off his impressive physique, joking: "Wembley Stadium tends to get a little hot, so sometimes the shirt comes off. If there’s not enough energy it might get cold in there.”

Tickets for this year's Summertime Ball go on sale this coming Friday (1st May) at 8am.

Derulo, meanwhile, recently spoke to Perez Hilton about his forthcoming new album 'Everything Is 4' and admitted that he feels as though it's his best record yet: "I feel like it's my best work thus far, and I'm excited to share it. I've been working on it for the past eight months and I'm excited to get it out there to the people."

"I think the biggest difference with this album is the element of growth. I really feel like I've grown up in the past eight months. A lot has happened in my life and experiences just force you to grow up. I feel like I've grown more in the past eight months than in the whole of the rest of my life."
