Jason Derulo: 'My mother wants me to give her a grandchild, she's ready!'

'Want To Want Me' sensation Jason Derulo has revealed that he isn't ready to have children yet, but his mum keeps trying to talk him into it.

During a new chat with BANG Showbiz, the heartthrob confessed that his mother is always encouraging him to settle down and start a family, much to his own amusement:

"When I bought a house [in Miami], I was in a much different mindset and settling down, thinking of my future but you know I'm young, I'm 25 and I shouldn't be thinking about family. Not ready. My mum is crazy. She be like, settle down! I'm like 'Mum jeez, give me a second' she wants a grandbaby, she's ready."

Derulo went onto add that he sees himself staying in Miami because there's still so much for him to experience and discover there:

"I actually need to be on the beach. Because I'm from Miami but I've never really had a chance to experience Miami Beach like that because I was under age and I went to college and then my career started. South Beach is the beach. You know what I'm saying. So I'm looking forward to moving to South Beach. It's time."
