'In My Head' hitmaker Jason Derulo has revealed that his grandmother has asked him to marry his singer girlfriend Jordin Sparks before she dies.

During an interview with Access Hollywood Live, the superstar confessed that a potential wedding has been suggested by the relative although he isn't even engaged to Sparks yet:

"My grandmother is 91 and she says, 'My only wish before I die is to see you and Jordin get married'. I'm not engaged as of yet, but when the time is right..."

Earlier this month, Derulo told Now magazine that injuring his neck showed him the value of true love: "Yes, it definitely brought 
me closer to her. Before my injury, I wasn't even looking for anything serious. I was just doing my thing. I wasn't on that page at all."

"I thought 
she was a nice girl and I liked spending time with her, but 
my head wasn't at that place. Then the injury helped me to 
see the light. Without it, we wouldn't have happened."
