Jennifer Lopez has legally reverted back to her original name.

Since marrying her former husband Marc Anthony – whose real name is Marco Muniz – in 2004, the ‘Booty’ star’s legal name has been Jennifer Muniz.

However, as of December 31 2014 court documents obtained by TMZ show that the 45-year-old singer and actress has now returned to the legal use of the name Jennifer Lopez.

Lopez and Anthony divorced in 2011. The mother of two spoke candidly about the end of her marriage to Marc Anthony in a recent television documentary.

Jennifer revealed: “That hope, that dream, that fairytale, with that first time that dream gets blown to pieces, you feel like you're going to die. You feel like you failed. You feel like no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't make it work. That wasn't my dream. My dream was for us to always be together. You never want to break up family.”
