JLo: 'We all want to numb the pain at some point in our lives'

Superstar Jennifer Lopez has opened up about her personal life and confessed that the things she has gone through have been incredibly, but she has learned a lot and is a stronger person now.

Speaking to German newspaper Bild, the beauty admitted that she never expected her love life to turn out the way it did, but she doesn't regret a thing because she always wanted children: "I always wanted a family. I feel so lucky to be a mother - my kids are my greatest treasure. That my love life would be so difficult is something no one could predict."

The 'Booty' sensation went onto add that when she split from husband Marc Anthony, she decided to keep her head in a good place and avoid feeling bitter:

"We all want to numb the pain at some point in our lives. That could be with alcohol, it could be with sex. The question is always: how will I get through tomorrow? You think your life is going down the pan and then suddenly you realise there is light at the end of the tunnel."
