JLo says Steven Tyler's Idol departure convinced her to leave

Songstress Jennifer Lopez has revealed one of the main reasons behind her decision to leave American Idol.

Speaking to Good Morning America on Sunday (July 15), the 'On The Floor' beauty explained that after she found out fellow judge Steven Tyler had quit she wasn't keen on staying either:

"We had magic. I don't know, with him gone, it might be a different formula."

When asked who she would love to see as a replacement on the panel, JLo admitted she has high hopes for a superstar to step in and share their expertise:

"I think like Bono or Bon Jovi or Mick Jagger. You know me, I think big."

Despite confirming that she has left her American Idol role during an interview with Ryan Seacrest last week, her Good Morning America chat seemed a little ambivalent as she added:

"I love them, they love me, and it's hard when I feel like I should move on. I don’t know, I don't know if it's even done yet."
