International songstress Jennifer Lopez is glad she has boyfriend Casper Smart on the road with her as he "genuinely cares" and isn't just there for the pay cheque.

The 'Get On The Floor' songstress is currently on international concert tour 'Dance Again' which began earlier this year.

The shows have taken Lopez to all corners of the world with backing dancer and toy-boy boyfriend Smart in tow.

She told ET Online: "You want people around you who genuinely care about you, not people that are just there for a pay cheque. Obviously he does care so… it's been great to have him there on the road."

Smart added: “Going out on a project like this, you need all the love and support you can get."

Lopez and Smart started dating after the star split from Marc Anthony in July last year, and the pair have enjoyed many occasions together including Valentine's Day earlier this year.

Smart likes to spoil his lady and revealed: "I rented a helicopter and we went to Laguna Beach [in California]. I did a big thing out there."
