Jennifer Lopez's recent performance on Britain's Got Talent has attracted complaints due to its raunchy nature.

The US star appeared on the show on Tuesday night (May 28) to play through her latest single 'Live It Up'.

However, her revealing clothing - which showed off a lot of her backside and beyond - prompted criticism from viewers.

Twitter users posted about the family nature of the show and how Lopez's performance wasn't befitting of its audience.

A spokesperson for media regulators Ofcom confirmed to the Daily Mail that a number of complaints have been received regarding the 'Live It Up' performance. They said:

"Ofcom can confirm that it has received complaints about the Britain’s Got Talent broadcast last night, which we are assessing but not currently investigating."
