Man charged with stalking after 'living in Jennifer Lopez's property for a week'

A man has been charged with stalking after being found on Jennifer Lopez's estate following an apparent week-long stay on her property.

Retired firefighter John Dubis - who already has a restraining order placed on him in relation to the singer - was found at Lopez's New York home at the beginning of August by workers.

He has now been charged with stalking and Dubis will face the Southampton Justice Court on August 28.

The accused had allegedly been living on Lopez's property for about a week when she was away from the home.

49-year-old Dubis was also charged with burglary, criminal contempt and possessing burglary tools.

Police added: "The court ordered an exam to determine if Dubis is fit to proceed in reference to the criminal charges."
