Jessica Simpson has announced plans to launch a "tween apparel collection" and will bring her sister, Ashlee, on board to help with the creative duties. 

Speaking exclusively to fashion website wwd.com, the 'With You' singer explained it will be part of her own collection and will include activewear that has a "girly, playful attitude":

"Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. I'm excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today's tweens."
