Jessie J plans to buy red chair and play along to The Voice at home

Jessie J has revealed that she hopes to play along to The Voice UK in her own home.

The singer was a coach on the TV talent show for two series before leaving ahead of its upcoming third season.

She was replaced by Kylie Minogue - but it seems Jessie J is more than keen on still taking part in the show's blind auditions.

Referring to her busy schedule, the 'Alive' star said: "That's one of the reasons I'm not doing The Voice. I want to focus on the music and getting an album out in the US which is my priority right now but I'm excited to watch it as a fan. I said I'm going to buy a cheap Ikea chair, a red one, and play by myself at home and just see what happens and shout at the TV 'Pick me'."

She added: "I definitely will miss it, I'll miss Tom [Jones], I love Tom and [will.i.am]'s craziness, never knowing what he's going to say. I feel like it's really fun to take a step away and see what they've done."

The third series of the UK Voice is due to kick off on the BBC from tomorrow night (January 11).
