Jessie J has suggested that her upcoming third album will represent a shift in sound.

The singer has been working on the record for a number of months and she told Capital FM that she is ready to try something new with the album.

The 'Domino' star said: "This is the album to make a change. I feel like that's what this album is about for me.

"I've learnt a lot, I've had my ups and my downs and I feel like the third album is always the one where you feel like your feet are found. I feel like I really know what I stand for now, and what makes me, me!"

The singer today (July 29) unleashed the single 'Bang Bang', which features Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande.

It has instantly been released in the US on iTunes, but UK fans will have to wait until September 28 to buy it.

Jessie J's last album 'Alive' meanwhile was released in 2013.
