Jessie J ready to move to the US

Jessie J has revealed plans to move to America.

The singer's profile in the US is currently enjoying a boom as her Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande duet 'Bang Bang' lights up the country's iTunes chart.

It seems the singer, who is from London, is keen on moving to the States within the next year and a half.

She told KISS FM: "I'm kind of 50/50 there and within the next kind of 18 months I'm gonna basically get a place in LA or New York."

Jessie J meanwhile recently opened up on the pleasure she receives from hearing how her music has helped her fans.

She said: "Being a female artist people initially think you want to prioritise things like doing a perfume and clothing line - that's exciting but it doesn't get me up in the morning.

"I'm happiest when I've made someone think about something they hadn't thought about before. When I was in China a boy threw a letter on stage. It said: 'I get bullied at school and the only thing that keeps me alive is the way you explain life to me.' It sounds really clichéd but that's why I do this."
