Jessie J: 'People expect me to be really aggressive but I can be vulnerable'

Jessie J believes people often have misconceptions about her.

The singer burst onto the mainstream music scene a number of years ago with a bold personality and look.

However, she told the Daily Mail that too many people wrongly think she is brash and potentially dangerous.

Jessie J said: "People expect me to be really aggressive and they're surprised that I can be vulnerable or feel fragile. I'm probably the least aggressive person you could meet. I'm direct yes, honest yes, but I'm not going to punch you. I am actually a really sweet girl."

Speaking about her penchant for honesty, the Brit added:

"Sometimes I don't know when to stop. Sometimes I should just say nothing, but I can't help myself and make some big statement when saying nothing would be much more appropriate."

Jessie J meanwhile will release her third album 'Sweet Talker' on October 13.
