Jessie J: 'More people would be married if social media didn't exist'

Vocal powerhouse Jessie J has revealed that she firmly believes technology has ruined romance and that people would take relationships and dating more seriously if they stepped away from social media.

During a new interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the 'Domino' songstress explained that apps like Instagram have really changed the way in which people look for a partner:

"I think if we lost technology for a year, there would be more people getting married! I think with Instagram and Twitter, romance has lost its way. It's all, 'Oh, I've got this girl but I could have this one, and I can contact her directly right this minute'."

She went onto add that she's hopeful that the man of her dreams is out there, and wonders if he might be found in the USA:

"I'm still finding my feet in love. Maybe America is the place I'll meet the man of my dreams? My mum and dad have been together 36 years, and they've shown me what real love is like. When you have that to look up to, you know you have to get it right."
