Jessie J on 'bisexuality was a phase' remark: 'I need to learn when to shut up'

Back in April, songstress Jessie J told Britain's The Mirror newspaper that she is no longer bisexual and thinks that, for her, it was 'just a phase'.

Her original remark to the paper was taken badly by the public and left many people criticising her. She said:

“For me, it was a phase. But I’m not saying bisexuality is a phase for everybody. I feel that if I continue my career not speaking on it, I almost feel more of a liar than if I didn’t. I just want to be honest, and it’s really not a big deal. Who cares?"

Jessie J has now opened up about the comments she made in a new interview with Billboard magazine and explained that she regrets it and wishes she had stopped to think before just talking: "I'm a talker; I wear my heart on my sleeve. But sometimes I just have to know when to shut up."
