Jessie J on Ariana Grande's 'diva' behaviour: 'There's a fine line between diva and survivor'

Hitmaker Jessie J has spoken out about the reports that suggest her 'Bang Bang' collaborator Ariana Grande is a 'diva' and revealed that it's annoying how that word has a negative connotation in today's world.

Speaking to the New York Daily News recently, the 'Domino' songstress admitted that she has been branded a diva in the past so understands how frustrating it is to be painted in that way because people automatically assume you're bratty if you're given that label:

"She's wonderful and she's had an extraordinary amount of success and the media sadly can't keep celebrating that, so they have to find something that they feel people would want to be more nosily interested in. I've had the 'diva' stamp, too... and there's a very fine line between diva and survivor.... (The accusations are) complete and utter bulls**t and you can put that in (your story)!"

Grande's older brother, Frankie, recently spoke out in defence of herand told Access Hollywood that she's not at all spoiled or precious, and is one of the most 'hard-working' stars he has ever met:

"First of all, a diva according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary is a wonderful female performer and personality - a glamorous female performer - so I don't know why all the negative connotation now comes with that word. I will say that she is one of the most genuine, hard-working and talented people that I have ever seen."
