Jessie J: 'I've been training to be a better singer'

Vocal powerhouse Jessie J has now released her brand new album, 'Sweet Talker', and told MTV News that she has been pushing herself over the last 12 months to be a stronger and better singer.

Speaking about training herself vocally, the 'Domino' beauty explained that she doesn't like to get complacent so is always striving for more where her career and skills are concerned:

“I’ve trained myself in the last year, more so than ever before, to be a better singer but also challenging myself with melodies and range and different kinds of singing. I always try and push out the best in myself in every song, whatever the song is about, so I think the biggest thing for me on this album is just hearing the growth in my voice. I’ve definitely worked hard vocally!”

She recently told Digital Spy that she's working on all areas of her life and feels as though she has a really sold handle on things: "I mean, what you want and what you get is not always the same thing, but those two things this time coincided and I feel very lucky, and I'm almost pushing myself to work harder. I wrote out my diary yesterday and colour-coordinated the whole thing. I'm getting my brain in the game and my body prepared."
