Jessie J says she doesn’t mind that a song she pitched for Britney Spears’ new album got rejected.

“To even have the opportunity to write a song for [Britney Spears] is still incredible. As a songwriter, I’m still taking baby steps,” the ‘Price Tag’ singer told MTV. “You have to write ten songs to get one good one and, realistically, I don’t have time to write ten. It was a good song though.”

“It is what it is; it happens for a reason,” she added.
