Jessie J loves to self-style

BRIT award-winning vocalist Jessie J recently performed in New York City's flagship Guess store on Fifth Avenue and spoke to the Wall Street Journal about her instantly recognisable look.

Talking about her rise to fame and if she uses a stylist, the 'Price Tag' singer-songwriter explained she takes a more personal, hands on approach:

"I think it’s funny when I read articles about how to get the Jessie J look. If they knew what I went through this morning! I usually set my alarm an hour and a half before I have to leave. My hair takes 25 minutes, then my makeup 45 and I chuck everything I might wear in a bag. I style myself. Fans can sniff a fake and I don’t want to be one.”

She also showed her admiration for pop's young newcomer, Willow Smith, and said she'd love to take her shopping:

"Oh dope! She is so cute. I want to go shopping with her! We could both learn a little something-something from each other."
