BRIT award-winner Jessie J will support Katy Perry on the final dates of her U.S California Dreams tour. 

Tweeting excitedly to her fans last night, June 6, the 'Price Tag' singer wrote:

"I am opening for @katyperry on the last leg of her USA 'California Dreams' Tour :D woop woop!!! Find all the dates here!!!! Im so excited @katyperry thank you for having me :) x"

The pair met not too long ago backstage after Jessie J approached the 'Firework' star for advice about being thrust into the spotlight and formed an instant friendship. She will open the following shows:

• November 15 - XL Center in Hartford, CT
• November 16 - Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY
• November 19 - Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV
• November 21 - Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA
• November 22 - Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA
