Jessie J opens up on The Jonathan Ross Show

Jessie J appeared as a guest on last night's Jonathan Ross Show where she performed her latest single 'Domino' and spoke about her "broken ankle", Adele's vocal issues and being part of the panel on talent show The Voice UK.

The 'Price Tag' superstar admitted that she can't believe how quickly her career has taken off and explained that being asked to work as a judge on The Voice was a fantastic honour considering her young age and the collective experience of the other mentors:

"I was approached by The Voice and obviously, for me, it was a bit scary. I'm 23, I'm only 12 months into my career - I still feel like I'm queuing up for the ride."

She also admitted that upon discovering 'Domino' had made it to the top of the charts, she celebrated by leaping into a swimming pool, but was soon brought back down to earth by a friend who pointed out her single was in fact only No.1 on the pop charts:

"I was in Thailand, we were all in our pajamas like sitting by the pool - beautiful evening - having a glass of wine, I went on my Twitter and saw 'you're No.1 on iTunes' so I freaked out!"

"I thought I'm going to jump in the pool. Jumped in the pool, realised I was a bit tipsy, panicked, couldn't swim..."

"We put 'Domino' on, like disco lights in the pool, then one of my best friends just looked at me and went 'babe, Flo Rida's No.1'. I was Number 1 on the pop iTunes chart, but not the official iTunes chart so all of us were standing there freezing cold naked like 'should we just go to bed?'"
