Jessie J thanks fans for support after The Voice debut

Jessie J has taken to Twitter to thank fans for their support after the first episode of The Voice was aired last night.

The ‘Domino’ star, who appears alongside Will.i.am, The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones on the talent show panel, admitted on the social networking site that she was apprehensive about her ‘Heartbeats’’ reaction to her coaching debut:

"My twitter is going crazy. I am so HAPPY you are all enjoying @BBCTheVoiceUK and your tweets are laaaaavely. I have been so nervous about you all seeing it!!!"

The 23-year-old, who was the first coach to team up with a contestant following Jessica Hammond's performance of ‘Price Tag,’ then tweeted her Black Eyed Peas co-star: "Oh @iamwill the banter. I love me some Will.i.am."

It was announced earlier today that The Voice launched with a peak of 9.6 million viewers compared to Britain’s Got Talent’s 10.93m, although the BBC show triumphed during the two programmes’ 20-minute overlap, coming out with 8.9m compared to the ITV series’ 6.71m.
