Jessie J responds to Louis Walsh's criticism of The Voice

Jessie J has responded to criticism levelled at her show The Voice by Louis Walsh.

As previously reported, X Factor judge Walsh laid into the UK version of The Voice, calling it "boring" and proclaiming that it isn't as good as the US version.

Speaking to Capital FM this morning (May 16), Jessie J struck back against Walsh's comments, saying she would feel odd taking advice from someone who didn't actually sing. She said:

"Is that because people are singing really well? He's had loads of albums out and been on tour for ages…not!"

She then added: "I think you should always be respectful of other people who have had success and had a career. And yeah, I don't know how I'd feel taking vocal advice from someone who doesn't sing, but Louis Walsh, you're a nice guy. Just keep it nice."
