Jessie J has uploaded a photo of herself recording what she says is the "most emotional song" she has ever penned.

The vocal star is currently in the throes of creating the follow-up to her 2011 debut album 'Who You Are'.

She has been out in the States to work on material as she cuts a number of new tracks to tape.

The Voice UK coach has now uploaded an image from a video of herself singing a particularly heartfelt new track - and she teased fans by suggesting she might make the whole clip public. Jessie J said:

"A still from a video of me recording the most emotional song I've ever written... I will upload it maybe…"

The singer meanwhile was confirmed last night (February 25) for this year's V Festival, which is due to take place on August 17 and 18 in England.
