Jessie J: 'The only time I'm a diva is when I've worked hard for something'

Pop songstress and The Voice coach Jessie J has admitted that she never behaves like a diva except for when she's protecting something she's poured her heart and soul in to.

During an interview with Yahoo! OMG, the hitmaker explained that she was originally hesitant to sign up for a second series on the hit TV talent show, but couldn't bear the thought of being replaced:

"For me, it was an amazing thing and a bad thing because I was so busy I had to choose - I had the option of writing a second album, do an arena tour, or sign up for The Voice."

"I had to ask myself if I wanted to turn on the TV and see someone else in my chair and I was like, 'No!' That's the diva in me, I worked hard for that and they would have had to scratch the name off the back of it. I said that I wanted to do it, but didn't want to rush the second album, but I've had enough time now to write a great second album and it would have been crap if I'd rushed it."

Just before the weekend, the 'Price Tag' beauty shaved her head in support of Comic Relief and raised money from her act of solidarity. Speaking about her decision to lose her hair, Jessie J explained: "I will always try my best to do good in my own little way."
