Jessie J's new single has made a dent on the UK charts.

As previously reported, the singer released the track 'Wild' at midnight on Sunday (May 26) as she creates buzz ahead of her forthcoming new album.

The star revealed on Twitter that the song reached No.3 on the UK Big Top 40, tweeting:

"After 16 hours you all made WILD number 3 in the UK big top 40! I am celebrating with a sprite lol and I am on top of the world! Love love love!"

It is also currently placed at No.5 on the UK iTunes chart, despite little fanfare surrounding the release.

'Wild' meanwhile received a worldwide release today (May 27) as Jessie J looks to take the track global.
