Jessie J: 'Miley Cyrus is like olives - you either love her or hate her'

Pop songstress and former 'The Voice' mentor Jessie J has given her opinion on Miley Cyrus's drastic new makeover and admitted that when you're in the public eye you can't really test different looks out privately before debuting them.

Cyrus unveiled a short new pixie cut along with much edgier style as she relaunched herself with 'We Can't Stop' and has received a mixed reaction from the public, but Jessie J told London's Daily Star that it's not easy for famous people to experiment behind closed doors so everything you change is immediately put 'out there':

"Miley at the moment is like olives; you either love her or hate her. You can’t do anything in this industry without testing it, and that means to do it for real in front of people."

The 'Price Tag' superstar, who co-wrote Cyrus's 'Party In The USA' single, also confessed that she would "love to work with her again" if the opportunity ever presents itself.

Jessie J, meanwhile, is due to release her new album on September 23 and recently confirmed the official tracklisting. 'Alive' will feature 13 tracks, including her smash hit single 'Wild'.
