Jessie J: 'I feel awkward when I'm out and people play my songs'

Pop songstress Jessie J has confessed that when she is out in public and hears her own music being played she immediately feels uncomfortable.

Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, the 'Alive' beauty explained that she never knows how to react if she's at a restaurant and one of her singles plays over the sound system:

"I feel uncomfortable when people play my songs. I'll go into a shop or restaurant, start eating my food, then they'll play 'It's My Party'. I don't know whether to dance, leave, sing and everyone looks at me."

Jessie J is due to head out on her 'Alive' tour later this month and confirmed earlier today that pop-rockers Lawson will be joining her from October 22 in Glasgow as special guests: "@lawsonofficial as special guests from 22nd October..."

Back in September, she told Digital Spy that releasing her second album was stressful because people don't like artists to change: "The reaction has been very mixed. There are a lot of people holding on to the old Jessie J - whatever that means - but I think there's a lot more people realising what I'm about. I think people like it."
