Jessie J plans "wicked" Alive tour

Jessie J hopes her current UK and Ireland tour will benefit from months of preparation.

The singer has spent much of the year working on her new album 'Alive', which was released in late September.

The former Voice UK coach told Capital FM that this time has allowed her to shape her tour and get to grips with the tunes before hitting the road. She said:

"I want the album to sound the same live, if not better, as it was recorded. And I didn't have a chance to learn the last album because it was so last minute [before I started touring], so I'm really using the time I have to utilise making myself a better artist. I'm really excited, it's going to be wicked."

Jessie J meanwhile kicked off her Alive tour in Belfast on Tuesday night (October 16), with her next date due to take place in Dublin tonight (October 17).

The jaunt was originally scheduled for March but the singer postponed it late last year so that she could perform her new album tracks on the tour.
