Jessie J feeling pressure to match success of debut album

Jessie J says that the reaction to her new album is different to that of her 2011 debut.

The singer unleashed her latest effort 'Alive' in September as she followed up her maiden record 'Who You Are'.

Her debut was hugely successful upon release two years ago and she told Digital Spy last night (October 15) at the opening night of her Alive tour in Belfast that she is coming to terms with the difference in reaction between her two albums.

The former Voice UK coach said: "I always said that the first album is proving why you should be there and the second album is reminding people why you should stay there."

She added: "That's the hardest bit and I'm feeling that right now. My first album was so successful. Selling 100,000 in the first week was like, 'How can I do that again?', but sometimes you realise that this career is about moments and you can't have moments every day. The Olympics was a moment and my first album was a moment and I feel like I'm waiting on my next moment and that could be tonight."

Next up meanwhile for Jessie J is a date in Dublin, Ireland tonight (October 16).
