Jessie J talks fatal gig stabbing: "I was heartbroken"Jessie J has spoken out for the first time about the death of one of her gig-goers last year. As previously reported, a man was found guilty for murder in November after he attacked a fellow attendee with a bottle at a BlackBerry gig in London last April. Jessie J was the performer that night and she told Time Out that she was left devastated after the incident, which saw 26-year-old Ashley Charles jailed for at least fourteen years. She said: "I've never actually spoken about this. You never expect to have someone lose their life at your show. 36-year-old Phillip Sherriff was attacked in the neck by Charles and ultimately died four days after the gig. Bouncers at the ill-fated gig said in court that Charles told them: "Is he okay? I wish I had not done that. It was a stupid mistake." Watch Jessie J perform live below:
