Songstress Jessie J has confirmed that she will perform at a series of concerts in the summer that will be held in forests around England. 

She announced the summer 2014 dates as part of the Forest Live project and will take the stage at a variety of outdoor woodland locations around the UK in June or July. The concerts were organised by the Forestry Commission in order to 'bring music to new audiences without commercial branding or sponsorship'.

Money raised from ticket sales will be used to improve the woodland for both wildlife and those who enjoy it.

Speaking about the exciting shows in a statement, the 'Price Tag' hitmaker explained that she can't wait: “I made my Forest Live debut this summer with just one show which I loved so it’s great to be taking in another four Forest Live dates next year… see you there.”

The full list of dates can be seen below and tickets are due to go on sale at 9am on Thursday, December 19 priced at £42.90 (including £3.90 booking fee) each:

• Friday 13 June: Sherwood Pines Forest, nr Edwinstowe, Notts
• Friday 20 June: Bedgebury Pinetum, nr Tunbridge Wells, Kent
• Friday 27 June: Cannock Chase Forest, nr Rugeley, Staffs
• Saturday 5 July: Delamere Forest, Nr Northwich, Cheshire
