'Wild' will be released as the first cut from her forthcoming new album, which will follow up 2011 debut 'Who You Are'.

The track will feature Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean, but no release date has yet been forthcoming.

Jessie J revealed the news on Twitter, exclaiming:

"MY FIRST WORLDWIDE SINGLE IS CALLED 'WILD' Feat @BigSean and @DizzeeRascal GO to http://www.jessiejofficial.com to let the fun begin! #jessiejwild."

She posted a teaser video of herself in the studio on her website, with the singer seen recording vocals.

As previously reported, Jessie J performed live on American Idol last night (May 16) alongside finalist Angie Miller as the show reached its finale.

The reality show is currently in its second series as the singer battles it out with Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am with their team of contestants.

In a series of messages posted last night (May 12) whilst the show was being broadcast, Jessie J defended her approach to coaching by stating that honesty is the best policy. She said:

"If I'm not critical, honest and real. What's the point? You don't survive in this business if you're ok. You have to work hard!"

The 'Domino' star continued: "Remember that teacher that picked at all your mistakes and made you really work on every detail. It's because they cared and saw something special in you. There is a thin line between passion, dedication, and commitment! I bet that teacher got you a good grade! Made you believe! Tough love is still love."

Jessie J currently has nine acts left on the show, including Danny County, Adam Barron and Lem Knights.

The singer has been busy working on the follow-up to her 2011 debut record 'Who You Are' for a number of months.

The Voice UK coach recently revealed that she had concluded recording her parts for the new album, with just mixing and mastering left.

In a new Twitter post uploaded today (May 10), Jessie J said that a new single and accompanying video are soon to be released. She said:

"So in the last 10 days. I shot my first video. Finished my 2nd album. Shot the album cover and have seen the first edit of the first single!"

As previously reported, Jessie J recently uploaded a number of childhood photos to her Instagram page.

The vocal sensation shared a total of 5 pictures ranging from a backstage snap taken when she starred in a production of 'Bugsy Malone' to an image of her posing with a girl she described as her "best mate then" and "best mate now".

One of her Instagram uploads is of a newspaper clipping from when Jessie J was just 10-years-old and the accompanying editorial, which is a direct quote from the young songstress, reads: "I always wanted to be a singer or dancer, and always wanted to be famous."

Meanwhile, Jessie J posted a message via her official Twitter page last night (May 8) to inform her 6.4 million followers that she has completed her new album and all that's left to do with it now is the mixing and mastering.

The British star revealed on Twitter last night (May 8) that she had all but recorded the music for her forthcoming new record.

The next stage in the process will be mixing and mastering as she looks to follow up her 2011 debut 'Who You Are'.

The singer said: "I'm in the studio finishing the last song for the album! Then guess what...ALL songs & vocals for album 2 are now complete. WOW!!!!! What a journey!"

She added: "Now to finish production. Mix it. Master it. Put it on a CD...and share it with all u amazing heartbeats. Not long now! :)."

The superstar singer's style has evolved over the last year into more grown-up territory after sporting a self-confessed "scary, cartoon look".

Speaking to Top of the Pops magazine, the 'Domino' star admitted that she thinks her body is "unusual" and that it has taken a lot of time for her to enjoy her own body image. She said:

"I don't think I'm bursting with confidence. I'm a bit unusual-looking and it's taken me a long time to feel confident in my body."

Jessie J continued: "Perhaps I was a bit scared. I was a little insecure about my body, about being too grown-up. But I was a girl and now I'm a woman and I want to make sure I enjoy it."

The beauty has experimented with a variety of different looks throughout her career and is never afraid of change, and told Top of the Pops magazine that style is something she loves playing around with:

"I'd love to have a fashion range. I've been dressed by the amazing Vivienne Westwood and fashion is something I'm a huge fan of. I've never been a follower. The only people I look at for style are Rihanna and Nicki Minaj."

She also confessed that she decided to 'calm down' her own look after realising that accessorising at 7am was just too much to handle, adding: "I have calmed down my look. Is it really necessary to wear all that jewellery and make-up at 7am? When you're tired you start to overcompensate by wearing too much bling."

"I love getting dressed up, but I want to be remembered for my singing. I'm styling myself at the moment. Fashion is something that I love to do."

The singer has been busy working on the follow-up to her 2011 debut 'Who You Are', which spawned hits such as 'Domino' and 'Do It Like A Dude'.

In a series of posts on Twitter today (April 22), Jessie J revealed a host of new lyrics - with the singer later confirming that some came from her next single. Among the lyrics was the line:

"When it gets rough and the rain starts pouring, I turn up the heat coz the drama aint important".

She added: "Roll the dice double two no more us no me and you. What a struggle, I took a risk, another life another kiss".

After posting the lyrics, the Voice UK coach added that she is enjoying the "mystery" of her new campaign. The singer said:

"Mystery is so rare now. Most music is leaked these days. I am enjoying the build-up to my second album. It's as exciting as the first time round, I want to remember every second of it. Enjoy it with me. Enjoy the tease, the mystery, the build up."

The singer has been busy over the last number of months working on the follow-up to her 2011 debut album 'Who You Are'.

Fans have been eager to hear the fruits of the 'Domino' star's labour and it seems she is set to kick off her new album project soon.

The Voice UK coach tweeted early this morning (April 17):

"Next month (May) my campaign kicks off!! I can't wait!! New music!! I'm b b b b back!! #Heartbeats."

Jessie J meanwhile is due to tour the UK and Ireland in October and November as she brings her 'Nice To Meet You' show to her fans.

Jessie J, 25, is currently a judge on BBC singing show The Voice and has improved on last year’s standings when her second ever single ‘Price Tag’ came fourth on the 2011 list of popular tracks.

‘Domino’, the fifth single from the singer’s debut album ‘Who You Are’, was released in August 2011 but only achieved pole position in the charts as late as January the next year. The track also went on to be nominated for Best British single at The 2013 Brit Awards. It also performed well in US sales and featured at number 6 on The Billboard Hot 100, becoming Jessie J’s most successful stateside single to date.

Penultimate to ‘Domino’ on the 2012 list was Gotye hit ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’, followed up by Emeli Sandé’s ‘Next To Me’ in third place. Other artists helping to make up 2012’s top ten tracks included Maroon 5, who achieved two top ten tracks, David Guetta, Olly Murs, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna and Calvin Harris, and Carly Rae Jepsen.

These listings are announced every year by music licensing and royalties company PPL. Jonathan Morrish, Director of PR and Corporate Communications, had this to say concerning the 2012 findings:

“The top ten most played pop songs is always an impressive insight into what the nation has been listening to the previous year. This list represents a great range of artists and recordings both from UK and around the world. These songs will undoubtedly stay with us for a long time.”

The chart is compiled from PPL data that includes not just a track’s amount of radio play but also its use in recordings on television and in venues such as pubs, clubs, shops and bars.

The singer exploded onto the music scene in 2011 with her debut 'Who You Are' - and the star was known for her striking look.

She has been busy working on the follow-up to the record and speaking to the Mirror, Jessie J said that it is reflective of her desire to discover her feminine side. She said:

"I'm more of a woman now. I'm having fun and still want to have fun. But it doesn't mean I have to wear a leotard now."

The Voice UK coach continued: "I did that cartoony, crazy, dark-haired bob look and I loved it. But I have less make-up now. I feel like I've grown up. I was 17 when I got signed, 22 for my first single and now I'm 25. My album feels more mature."

Jessie J previously postponed a UK arena tour to concentrate on her new album, with the jaunt rescheduled to October and November.

Numerous reports have emerged recently that suggested the singer had been throwing tantrums whilst on the set of the reality show, which has just aired the start of its second series.

Speaking to the Mirror, the 'Domino' star said that the diva tag comes with the territory of being a female on TV - but it's something that isn't applicable to her own personality. She said:

"I don't think there has been any TV show where a woman hasn't had a diva stamp. I don't want anyone to think that's what I am because I'm not. I'm the total opposite."

Jessie J added: "I have eight people in my team, not 50. You can't win. I realise that happens to women. But do I want to turn on TV and see someone else in my chair? No! That's the only diva in me."

The next episode of The Voice UK is due to air on Saturday (April 6).

The singer's official site was the victim of malicious hacking on Saturday (March 30), with the culprits posting a message about Lady Gaga.

The post on her website had said: "The whole Universal Republic (Universal Music) can suck Lady GaGa's d**k."

Tweeting at the time about the incident, Jessie J said: ""Somebody has hacked my website too! How original! *Naaaat* we are having it sorted ASAP and my apologies for the rude message the hackers have left! X."

Her website was taken down at the time, and its URL today (April 1) still redirects to her Facebook page.

The British singer is currently working on her second studio record, which will mark the follow-up to 2011's successful 'Who You Are'.

Speaking to Hunger, Jessie J admitted that the album means a lot to her at the moment due to the amount of time she has put into it. The 'Domino' star revealed:

"My second album is the love of my life right now. I'm putting everything into it; I'm working 12 hours a day, doing vocals and rewriting to make it great. I've grown up a lot; I wrote my debut album when I was between 18 and 20, and now I'm 25."

She added: "It's still very honest, eclectic and broad: at times just me and a piano, some rock-pop, some soul - it's sounding great. I'm really excited."

The Voice UK coach meanwhile recently unveiled a new blonde hair colour on Instagram, which can be seen above and below.

The British singer is celebrating her birthday today (March 27) and it appears that she has headed to mainland Europe for a getaway.

However, she surprised her online followers by revealing a blonde look only weeks after she shaved her head for charity.

Jessie J uploaded a picture of herself with the striking hair colour on Instagram as followers praised the new look, with one user typing:

"Happy birthday u look gawjas xxxxxxxxx."

The singer also uploaded a photo of herself with friends as she enjoys a spring holiday.
