JLS star Marvin Humes: 'I cried during our final concert'

Heartthrob Marvin Humes, formerly of boyband JLS, has revealed that at the group's farewell concert he broke down in tears because it was the end of an era.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the 'Everybody In Love' hitmaker explained that he's an emotional person but rarely cries so was surprised by his reaction to the end of his band's career on stage:

"I'm sensitive, I've got feeling but I don't cry. There's nothing wrong with guys who do. But the JLS concert was huge. We got to the very last song of the very last show - Everybody in Love is our encore track - and I couldn't sing."

"All of us were in tears. We're such close brothers, it made us realise, 'This is it'."

He added that he knew the end of JLS was a huge deal because he didn't even cry at his wedding or when his daughter, Alaia-May, was born: "When my daughter was born, that was obviously really emotional. That and getting married were the most incredible moments - but I didn't feel I was going to cry. I'm just a happy person."
