The 24-year-old, renowned for his on-stage backflips, will replace Australian Adam Garcia, who is leaving the show after three years to concentrate on his theatre career.

Aston told The Sun that he is ‘buzzing’ about his new role:

“My experience on talent shows will help me to understand what the contestants are going through. I can’t wait.”

Auditions for the fourth series kicked off in Manchester last month and will be screened next January.
