JLS star says fame has made caring for mother difficult

JLS singer Oritse Williams has opened up on how becoming famous has affected his ability to look after his mother.

The music star's mum has multiple sclerosis and Williams said that he finds it hard to "just to have a simple conversation on the phone" with her due to his busy schedule.

His mother is now looked after by nurses but Williams was her primary carer when he was 11. Speaking about his important role, the 'Hottest Girl In The World' star said:

"I was with my mum every single day. I knew what was happening because I was in control of it."

He added: "It went from my mum being able to walk me to school every single day, to me having to hold onto her to help her to walk. I was helping her bathe and go to the bathroom."
