JLS to bring R&B "back to the masses" on new album

JLS have offered some more details about the sound of their forthcoming new album.

The popular boyband are bringing out their fourth studio release 'Evolution' on November 5 and lead single 'The Hottest Girl In The World' has truly whetted the appetite of fans.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Marvin Humes said that the quartet went "back to basics" on the record and added that they plotted a slightly different sound than usual. He said:

"'Evolution' is edgier, more R&B. We went back to basics, making a record of how we want to sound for the next few years, hence the Evolution title."

JB Gill added: "We see ourselves as ambassadors, bringing UK R&B back to the masses."
