JLS land at No.3 in the midweek update with their new album 'Evolution'

Boyband JLS have shot into the UK Top 40 albums chart at No.3 with their brand new offering, 'Evolution'.

The lads previously described the record as "bringing UK R&B back to the masses" and it has debuted at a respectable position although the final number will be confirmed on Sunday, November 11.

Robbie Williams' 'Take The Crown' stole the No.1 position in today's (November 7) midweek update and Andre Rieu and The Johann Strauss Orchestra have entered at No.2 with 'Magic Of The Movies'.

Elsewhere in the countdown, Aerosmith's new cut 'Music From Another Dimension' has made an appearance at 8, Ne-Yo's 'R.E.D' debuted at 13, and Matt Cardle's 'The Fire' has dropped 16 places to No.24.
