JLS announce "mystery boyband" competition in aid of Cancer Research

JLS have announced a partnership with Cancer Research UK that will see the band aim to raise £2 million for the charity.

Speaking exclusively to the Huffington Post, JLS said that they will be using "our influence, our time, our knowledge, our friends to raise awareness and effect change".

The collaboration sees the JLS Foundation work in tandem with Cancer Research UK, with the group hoping to raise £2m in two years.

The 'Hottest Girl In The World' stars have launched a special competition to get the partnership underway, with the winner getting to watch a soundcheck from a "mystery boyband" before spending time with JLS.

The winner and their friends will then be "serenaded" by JLS with a song of their choice, before watching the mystery group again at the O2 Arena in London.

It costs £1 to enter the competition, which closes on December 21. The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve, with the events set to take place in spring 2013

It is unclear who the mystery boyband will be, but with One Direction playing the O2 Arena in April next year, tongues have been wagging.
