JLS star Marvin Humes has denied speculation that his wife Rochelle received an eye injury as they were getting intimate in the bedroom.

As previously reported, the Saturdays singer recently stated in a game of 'Never Have I Ever' on radio that she once went to hospital with an eye-related sex injury.

However, Marvin has claimed that the suggestion is false, telling Digital Spy:

"It's not true. It's 150% not true. It just came out of nowhere. It was all a bit of friendly banter between the girls. They made something up and then it all just escalated and got out of hand. As I said, it's not true at all."

Speaking about whether he was left cringing after the radio story, Humes said: "Oh massively. Of course, totally. But it's just one of those things. You have to be careful what you say because people will believe everything."

JLS meanwhile are due to release their final single 'Billion Lights' on November 17 before unleashing a greatest hits compilation a day later.

They will tour the UK in December before calling a day on a career that has seen the boyband release four albums.
