JLS have written song for next New Kids on the Block album

JLS have revealed that they have penned a tune for the next New Kids on the Block record.

The boyband are due to split at the end of the year, but it seems they are keen on giving unreleased tracks to other acts.

The lads helped co-wrote a few songs on New Kids on the Block's 2013 record '10', but Oritse Williams told Digital Spy that they will have another track on the US boyband's next album. He said:

"We've had cuts on New Kids on the Block's albums and three songs we've written that are going to be on other artists' albums. We've got another one on the brand new New Kids on the Block album as well."

Speaking meanwhile about JLS's unreleased material, Aston Merrygold said: "There are loads of them and we play them on a regular basis! We could put together another five albums, easily. Most of them are really good songs as well; not offcuts that weren't included on our albums because we didn't like them."

JLS meanwhile will release their final single 'Billion Lights' on November 17 before unleashing a greatest hits collection a day later. They will then tour the UK in a farewell jaunt of the country's arenas.

The group released four full albums in their career, starting with their post-X Factor self-titled debut in 2009 and ending with 2012's 'Evolution'.
