Scooter Braun reveals he gave Justin Bieber ultimatum: "Quit or keep fighting"

Justin Bieber's manager has revealed that he recently gave the singer an ultimatum.

The singer has endured numerous negative headlines over the past year and his recent arrest in Miami for DUI was the icing on the cake.

Speaking in the March issue of GQ, his manager Scooter Braun has admitted that he gave his client an ultimatum in light of his negative behaviour - give up or keep on trying.

Referring to a conversation he had with Bieber, the music man said: "Either we quit and let you try and find a normal life or you realise that this is what this is and we've got to keep fighting."

Braun continued: "And you’re going to hate me some days because I’m going to say you can’t throw a punch. You want to go out there and you want to bash their heads in and say this isn’t fair; you want to say you don’t know me. But the only way you’re going to win them over is by being better than they are."

The manager also likened his role to that of a father, adding: "It's the same as being with a kid growing up, as a parent. My responsibility is to always be there when they fall, to help them back up. But at some point I need to let them fail."

Bieber meanwhile will face trial on February 14 on charges of DUI, resisting arrest and driving without a valid licence.
