Justin Bieber: 'I'm always grateful for the opportunity to do what I love'

Justin Bieber has revealed his gratitude at having a career in music.

The singer shot to fame as a doe-eyed teenager, but recent brushes with the law and public misdemeanours have blighted his reputation somewhat.

The Canadian is facing driving and substance charges soon as well as a charge of allegedly assaulting a limo driver.

The 20-year-old claimed last year that he might retire from music, but it seems he will do anything but.

The singer took to Twitter to confirm further studio sessions, adding a note of thankfulness. He said:

"Always making music. Always grateful for the opportunity to do what I love. Thank you."

Bieber had recently uploaded what appeared to be a short clip of a new song called 'Life is Worth Living'.
