Justin Bieber limousine driver assault charge dropped

Justin Bieber has had an assault charge against him dropped.

The 20-year-old singer was charged in January with the alleged assault of a limousine driver in Toronto in December.

The driver claimed that the 'Boyfriend' man struck him on the back of his head several times on the way from a club to his hotel.

However, on Monday (September 8) the prosecutor admitted that there was no reasonable prospect of conviction and that the charge had been dropped.

Whilst one charge has now disappeared, another looms on the horizon for Bieber.

He was arrested and charged with assault and dangerous driving in late August near his hometown of Stratford, Ontario.

The singer allegedly collided with another vehicle before striking its driver.
