Justin Bieber has confirmed that he plans on touring this year.

The singer spent much of 2014 out of the limelight after being arrested for DUI in January.

However, he began working on new music and the Canadian told V Magazine that formal progress on his next record will begin in 2015.

He added in a chat with fashion man Karl Lagerfeld that he also plans on touring this year too.

Bieber said: "I’m going to start working on a new album and a tour for 2015.

"I took the last year off and I’m excited to get back to work."

When asked meanwhile if he has unfulfilled ambitions, the 20-year-old replied:

"Of course. I’m still young. I still have so many personal and professional goals I want to achieve. I want to keep creating music for my fans. One day I hope to make strides into movies and fashion as well. I want to share my creativity with the world."
